Why are we Waiting for Tomorrow

Growing up as a child my mom always had a dream of open a restaurant.  Where we lived was a two lane road heavily traveled by coal trucks.  There was a good distance between the towns that had restaurants.  She and my dad often sit and talked about doing this when he retired.  In my teens that dream changed to buying a RV and traveling the United States. When my dad retired she become sick and he spent his days taking care of her until she passed away a year ago.

They always put off what they wanted to do until tomorrow.  Their tomorrow never came.  We are like that so much in our lives we find excuses to hold off enough until tomorrow what we should do today.  We let things like fear and doubt cloud our minds.

Growing up in church I always heard the preachers saying your tomorrow may not come, or the end is coming.  It wasn't until I was 23 I truly understood that your end is when you die.  We will not be able to repent our sins when our souls leave our bodies.  We need to accept that God sent his Son to die for our sins.  Believe in the birth, death and resurrection.  I think this Mandisa song says it all.
